Pleasant has been working with the first-team defense at OTAs, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports. Rahim Moore will start at one safety spot, leaving Pleasant, Stevie Brown, and perhaps Terrance Parks or Lonnie Ballentine to compete for the other starting job. Houston's decision to release D.J. Swearinger in May suggests the team will emphasize coverage skills over hard hitting. Pleasant, a 2012 UDFA, has barely played on defense to this point in his career. Brown has far more experience and is the favorite to start, regardless of how the snaps are being divided at OTAs.
