Panthers signed LB Dan Connor. Connor, 28, was released by the Giants with an injury settlement last week. He'll provide middle linebacker depth behind Luke Kuechly and Chase Blackburn. Connor was a third-round pick by the Panthers in 2008 and returns after spending the first four years of his career in Carolina.
