Panthers signed DE Mario Addison to a two-year contract extension through 2016. Addison, 26, appeared in all 17 games last season, making two starts and participating on 269 defensive snaps. He amassed 21 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and one forced fumble as the top reserve behind starters LE Charles Johnson and RE Greg Hardy. Addison will compete for that role again with rookie DE Kony Ealy.
