Panthers placed CB Brandon Hogan (knee surgery) on the reserve/PUP list. A third-round pick, Hogan tore his ACL in his final game as a West Virginia Mountaineer. He'll be first eligible to return when the Panthers take on the Redskins in Week 7, but isn't likely to be active from the get-go. Unless he makes real progress within the next few weeks, it wouldn't be surprising if the Panthers decided to "redshirt" their rookie and place him on injured reserve.
