Palmer participated in on-field workouts Tuesday and is expected to do the same Wednesday, Bob McManaman of The Arizona Republic reports. "We'll see how he feels two days in a row," head coach Bruce Arians said. "Whether he goes Thursday or Friday, we'll see. But he looked really sharp."
EDGE Analysis
With his age (37) in mind, the Cardinals have directed Palmer to hold off on throwing much, if at all, this offseason, but the veteran has worked his way into OTAs over the last two weeks. During a full speed session last Thursday, he tossed some passes, which he replicated Tuesday. After throwing back-to-back days this week, the Cardinals will learn how he's holding up under his current restrictions, at which point a decision may be made too allow him to keep it up during the final two days of OTAs and/or next week in mandatory minicamp. No matter his upcoming activity level, Palmer is gearing up for his 15th season overall and fifth in Arizona, where he's put up at least 4,000 yards and 24 touchdowns in the three campaigns in which he played at least 15 games.
