Packers signed QB Seneca Wallace. Wallace was just released by the 49ers -- the Packers' Week 1 opponent -- on Thursday. He immediately slides in as Aaron Rodgers' direct backup as Green Bay has released both Vince Young and B.J. Coleman in the last few days. Wallace, 33, hasn't appeared in an NFL game since 2011 with the Browns. Current Packers GM Ted Thompson drafted Wallace to the Seahawks in the fourth round of the 2003 draft.
