Packers released RT Mark Tauscher. Tauscher was due nearly $5.6 million and would be no better than the Packers' fourth tackle this season, so this move was inevitable. The 34-year-old is noncommittal about continuing his career. Tauscher has been beset by injuries in recent seasons, and he's currently coming off rotator cuff (shoulder) surgery.
