Owens (hamstring) has been placed on injured reserve by the Lions, ESPN.com's Michael Rothstein reports. Owens will go on injured reserve for the second straight year, after a knee injury landed him there in 2013. He registered no touches this season, so his injury will hurt the Lions' depth at fullback and special teams more than it does fantasy owners.
