Doyle (ankle/knee) won't play Sunday against the Vikings, Andrew Walker of the Colts' official site reports.

Walker adds that coach Frank Reich indicated that at first it looked like Doyle might be dealing with a multi-game injury, but the tight end has progressed better than expected and could be back as soon as Week 3. In Doyle's absence this weekend, Mo Alie-Cox and Noah Togiai will handle the Colts' tight end duties.
