Orton, who has thrown for 283 yards or better in his three starts for the Bills, faces a Jets defense this week that allows the second-highest opponent passer rating in football (108.3), BuffaloBills.com reports. We're not going to pretend Orton will put up Philip Rivers/Tony Romo type numbers all season, but he's definitely given the Buffalo offense some life compared to what EJ Manuel was (or wasn't) doing earlier in the season. With Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller out this week and then some, Orton may be forced to push the ball through the air a bit. We'll also note Scott Chandler has been better with Orton out there, and Chris Hogan is emerging as a viable No. 3 wideout. Again, you can't expect the world with a journeyman quarterback running an offense that's struggled and has a coordinator that still seems overmatched at times, but Orton seems like a decent bet to put up, say, 275 yards and a TD this week, if that helps you.
