Addison has an Oct. 7 arraignment and plea hearing scheduled in Los Angeles County Superior Court stemming from his citation last month for suspicion of driving under the influence, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Per Seifert, as a result of the July incident, Addison was charged with two misdemeanors -- driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with .08 percent blood alcohol content. The report adds that the wideout could potentially face an NFL suspension once his legal proceedings are complete. As the coming season approaches, Addison is slated to work as the Vikings' No. 2 wide receiver behind top option Justin Jefferson. As a rookie, the 2023 first-rounder recorded 70 catches (on 108 targets) for 911 yards and 10 TDs in 17 regular-season contests.
