Nugent's teammate, Quinn Sharp, was released by the Bengals on Monday, the The Sports Xchange reports. The report notes that Sharp served as "a camp leg" to keep Nugent from being overworked during the preseason, as opposed to actually competing for the team's kicking assignment. In any case, in advance of Week 1, a presumably healthy Nugent is the only kicker the Bengals currently roster.
