Taylor was limited during practice Wednesday and Thursday, but he was downgraded to a DNP on Friday and will miss his first game of the regular season. His next chance to suit up will be Week 6 against the Broncos on Oct. 13, as the Chargers have a Week 5 bye. Cam Hart is a candidate to slide into Taylor's spot as the nickel corner.
