Cimini reiterated Wednesday what head coach Robert Saleh said Monday, which is that the Jets are hopeful Davis will clear the concussion protocol in time to play this Sunday against Detroit. With one absence from practice to begin the week, Davis will likely need to make some sort of appearance in practice by Friday to have any chance of clearing the five-step protocol by Sunday.
