Funchess (lower body) is not participating in Thursday's practice, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

Funchess had to be carted off the field after pulling up during Wednesday's practice, and while the nature and severity of his apparent injury remain undisclosed, it's not encouraging that he's absent Thursday. At the very least, Funchess is trending in the wrong direction for Saturday's preseason contest against the Jets, and it's within the realm of possibility that he's dealing with a serious injury.
