Multiple reports previously suggested that David would miss multiple games after he injured his foot in Sunday's 9-0 loss to the Saints, and his move to IR now makes the matter official. He'll remain sidelined through the end of the regular season, with Tampa Bay presumably hopeful that three weeks of rest and recovery will be enough for David to be healthy in advance of a potential postseason run. Due to his early shutdown, David will fall just short of the 100-tackle mark -- he's recorded 97 in 12 games -- for only the second time in his 10 NFL seasons.
