Young's move to the IR was a formality after he was diagnosed with a torn ACL on Monday. The No. 2 overall selection in 2020 will set his sights on getting healthy for the 2022 season. In a corresponding move, Washington signed fellow defensive lineman, Daniel Wise from the practice squad to the active roster.
