Michael Crabtree (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
Crabtree played on 61-of-69 snaps last week against the Seahawks. He'll remain an every-down receiver for the remainder of the season. Crabtree has a tough Week 15 matchup with Darrelle Revis. He's merely a WR3/4.
Well I had planned on starting Crabtree since I picked him up a longggg time ago when he was injured and things were finally looking up for him but now this ankle thing has me second guessing wether to start him or not.
Brian Hartline, Steve smith, and Brandon lafell are my other options.
I have victor Cruz in but I may take him out since he hasn't had a touchdown in 9 games and now he's got Seattle.
Kendall wright has been doing really good for me but last time I checked he was questionable.
Any advice on receivers to start? Just need 2 since I'm starting two backs. Johnson and Moreno.
I would start steve smith, i would say hartline but the pats defense has been looking good lately i doubt hes gonna have a spectacular game... N since carolina has the jets this week they have a good run defense but pass defense isnt all that great
Steve smith was my first choice. I agree with what you said. I have to deal with the pats with my tight end cuz I got clay starting. I just can't trust if Jordan reed will play. I just gotta figure out the second receiver. I hate to bail on Cruz but he just seems to be on the decline. God this sucks when it's playoffs lol. One wrong start and it's over.
At this point in the season, go with Smith, start your #1 WRs if there is any question. You know they'll get the snaps and hopefully a few chances at a score. The Pats defense hasn't looked good; I don't know what planet trackboy has been on. You could run a mack truck through their front 7 and no one would touch it; they're decimated with injury. Dolphins will probably pound it all day, but I'd say Wallace will see more of Talib than Hartline. He'd be your second choice and deserves slight consideration. Crabtree will probably see Revis all day, and Brandon LaFell is Brandon LaFell. Go with Smith and cross your fn fingers lol
