McMillian was released by the Chiefs on Monday, ESPN Kansas City reports. McMillian was released by the Packers last December and signed with the Chiefs in the offseason with the hopes of battling for a reserve safety spot. His poor play in the preseason shed all hope of that and has led to his release.
