The veteran defensive tackle stepped up in the absence of Akeem Spence (ankle), making his first start of 2015 and tallying a season-high five tackles. McDaniel played very solidly against the run, and was part of a Bucs front that stifled Todd Gurley the majority of the night. A steadying veteran presence with Super Bowl experience from his Seahawks days, McDaniel figures to earn another start in Week 16 if Spence continues sidelined.
