McCown took over for Cody Kessler (concussion) at the end of the third quarter and completed 14 of 27 passes for 118 yards and a score against the Steelers on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.
EDGE Analysis
McCown found Gary Barnidge for the tight end's first touchdown of the season, but it was tough sledding for the veteran quarterback. He was sacked four times in the fourth quarter -- including one that resulted in him losing a fumble in the end zone. If Kessler is unable to clear concussion protocol, McCown may be in line to start in Week 12 against the Giants, although Robert Griffin (shoulder) should return to practice at some point next week.
