McCown (collarbone) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice for the first time since going down with an injury in Week 2, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
McCown's broken collarbone was expected to keep him off the field for 2-to-4 weeks, so it's no surprise that he's back at practice after three weeks. Head coach Hue Jackson said McCown threw the ball well Wednesday but that Cody Kessler (chest, ribs) is the Browns' starting quarterback until he says otherwise. It remains unclear whether McCown will activated for Sunday's Week 5 matchup against the Titans, as it may take him more than a week's worth of practices for him to be game-ready.
