Matt Schaub "(doesn't) know" if his agent and the Texans have exchanged contract proposals. Schaub's entering a contract year, but it doesn't appear the sides have had meaningful extension talks. Schaub has missed at least five games three of his five years in Houston, and turns 31 later this month. Coming off Lisfranc surgery, he's not in a position of negotiating strength. If a deal is reached this summer, it would likely be near the end of camp.
