Matt Schaub (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 7, and the Texans will start Case Keenum against Kansas City. Oh my. "I didn't hesitate because I felt like we needed a spark," coach Gay Kubiak said. It's not surprising that Schaub has been ruled out, but it's a mild upset that the Texans are going with Keenum - who has never attempted an NFL pass - over T.J. Yates. Keenum will be making his first NFL start on the road against a defense that's notched a league-leading 30 sacks, including a preposterous 10 in Week 6. It's a recipe for disaster, and a downgrade for the Texans' entire offense even though Schaub has been among the league's least-effective quarterbacks this season.
