Matt Forte rushed for 96 yards on 22 carries in the Bears' Week 7, 13-7 win over the Lions on Monday night. Forte chipped in with one catch for four yards, but his highlight of the night was an opening drive 39-yard run to set up a Brandon Marshall seven-yard touchdown reception. Forte and Michael Bush carried the load for the Chicago offense, totaling 133 yards, while Jay Cutler passed for just 150 yards. Detroit entered the night as the No. 10 rush defense, but Forte didn't have any problems as he looks fully recovered from a Week 2 high ankle sprain. He has a very favorable matchup with the Panthers in Week 8.
