Marshall was released by the Chargers on Monday, NFL.com reports. Marshall played an expanded snap count Thursday against the Broncos in wake of injuries to the Chargers' secondary; however, he was exposed on numerous occasions by Denver wideout Emmanuel Sanders. Following that sub-par performance, Marshall will now hit the free agent market and hope to provide veteran depth elsewhere in the league.
