Bengals coach Zac Taylor said Monday that Higgins (hamstring) is moving in a positive direction for Week 3 and could benefit from the extra day of rest to prepare for Monday Night Football versus the Commanders, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Higgins has missed two consecutive games due to a lingering hamstring injury, and his last practice session was Thursday of Week 1. Andrei Iosivas scored twice Week 2 in Higgins' absence and has emerged as an option in the Bengals' receiving corps behind Ja'Marr Chase. The Bengals' first official injury report of Week 3 won't arrive until Thursday, so fantasy managers aren't guaranteed another update on Higgins' health until then.
