Major Wright is still listed as the starting free safety ahead of Brandon Meriweather. Meriweather has only been in town since Sunday, so Wright will likely get the nod in Week 1. But the Bears didn't give Meriweather a $1 million signing bonus and a $2.25 million base salary for him to ride the bench. We'd expect the ex-Patriot to be starting next to Chris Harris before long.
