Thompson logged a trio of limited practices last week before he ultimately sat out a fifth straight game in Sunday's win over the Lions. While it's good to see the veteran maintain the same level of participation from where he left off last week, he'll probably need to upgrade to full activity before the Redskins are confident he's ready for game action. With Derrius Guice, Adrian Peterson (toe) and Wendell Smallwood all factors in the Washington backfield, Thompson may not be asked to take back his usual high-volume pass-catching role once he gains clearance to play again.
