Lions released P Nick Harris. The Lions punter since 2003, Harris was beat out by undrafted rookie Ryan Donahue. Although Harris was set to make $1.4 million this season, the Detroit Free Press reports the decision was based on performance, not salary. Harris should get a call once someone's punter goes down this season.
