Lions re-signed LB Bobby Carpenter. The Lions really made a concerted effort to improve their linebacker corps this offseason. By signing Justin Durant and Stephen Tulloch in free agency while also retaining Carpenter, they are now deep at the position. Carpenter can back up both outside 'backer spots.
