Higgins (shoulder) was a limited participant Wednesday in his return to practice, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports.

It puts Higgins tentatively on track for a return this Sunday against the Packers. That would be in line with a Sept. 30 report from Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com, in which it was reported that the Bengals planned to have Higgins back for Week 5 after he missed Weeks 3 and 4. Injury reports Thursday and Friday still need to be watched closely, as Higgins' return is no foregone conclusion at this early stage.
