Lewis (hip) is scheduled to visit with the Steelers, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports.

Lewis was released by the Saints last Friday as he continued to deal with hip issues throughout the preseason. The veteran cornerback expects to be ready for Week 1 but his medical history could discourage Pittsburgh from bringing him on. If he does sign with the Steelers, he will likely serve as an established third cornerback behind William Gay and Ross Cockrell.
