The Seahawks waived Jones (ankle) from IR on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Jones landed on IR after previously going unclaimed on waivers during Seattle's final roster cuts in late August. As a result, the second-year linebacker out of NC State was slated to miss the entire season on IR, but he will now be eligible to sign elsewhere during the 2023 campaign.
