Ruggs has now been cut by the Raiders and is facing felony charges of DUI resulting in death and reckless driving after being involved in a car accident in Las Vegas early Tuesday morning, per the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. It was a two-car accident and a deceased person was discovered in one of the vehicles, and Ruggs was reportedly the driver of the other vehicle. The 22-year-old displayed signs of impairment at the scene and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at the hospital.
there's a rumor on the raider boards that ruggs was racing another raider team mate, just have to wait and see if it was just a "rumor" when all the details are released.
I wouldn't be surprised if that was true because I've heard that he was going 156 mph, had a gun in the car, and had twice the legal limit of alcohol two hours after the crash. The dude is rich, young, and talented at football but just gave it all away because his ego was too big to take an uber.
