Leshoure is slated to visit the Colts later this week, the Detroit Free Press reports. Leshoure, who was waived by the Lions on Saturday, carries some name recognition, but if he did end up signing with the Colts, he'd still need to work his way up the team's RB depth chart, which is currently headed by Trent Richardson and Ahmad Bradshaw.

they could use him he is a really good back better than dwyer

CW-Mac Fri 9/5/14 5:13 PM

Agreed. I don't understand why no one has grabbed him yet.

Probably because he averaged 3.7 ypc which is 0.4 ypc less than dwyer...

Ghost_Lombardi Sat 9/6/14 6:40 PM

But .3 YPC more than Richardson.

true dat. but no one is saying Richardson is safe in his spot either.

Probably the best RB without a job today . . . Plenty of teams that could use the depth or potential starting RB - there's worse guys you can hold on your roster in a wait n see situation - there's Indy, Zona, Hou, NyG and I'm sure a couple others after week 1 . . .

Andre Brown was the best available before Leshoure got free. He'll find a job soon. He's not an explosive runner or excellent pass catcher, but if you need a couple yards and you want a grinder at RB, Mikel is your guy. I'd sign him in a heartbeat if I were an NFL team and he passed his physical.
