Langford left Sunday's game against the Cowboys in the third quarter with an ankle injury.
EDGE Analysis
Langford got another start and played the first two drives, but Jordan Howard took most of the snaps and touches from that point forward, showing once again that Langford's role is tenuous. Last week it was Ka'Deem Carey who split first-half work with Langford, until the third-year pro was knocked out in the second quarter with a hamstring injury. Howard may end up as the Week 4 starter by default, though Langford is considered questionable to rejoin Sunday's game, which could be a sign his ankle injury isn't too serious. Regardless, Langford's brief tenure as the workhorse back is a thing of the past. Howard is the most appealing commodity in the Chicago backfield.
