Langford had four carries for seven yards and one catch for three yards in Thursday's preseason game against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
According to Pro Football Focus, Langford took all of the snaps with Jay Cutler and the first-team offense, which managed just one first down on three drives. The other Chicago running backs didn't fare any better than Langford, with Jordan Howard, Jacquizz Rodgers and Ka'Deem Carey combining for just 25 yards on 10 carries, though Rodgers (2-23-0) and Carey (2-22-0) did contribute through the air. Langford clearly has pole position, but the Chicago backfield will be worth watching throughout the preseason.

I like him this season, especially for where he is going (4-6 round in mock drafts I done). Call me crazy but with the potential he showed last season, as an RB2 I think he's fantasy gold. Anyone else agree, or am I missing something?

the analysis doesn't mention that Langford was going up against one of the best run defenses in the league last year. And the other guys were going up against some players who might not even make Broncos roster. It wasn't a great performance, but his sure hands on that screen play can give owners hope. Also, he showed ability to pick up the blitz on a couple plays, which will hopefully allow him to stay on the field for all 3 downs, leading to more opportunities for touches.
