Kevin Walter managed just two receptions on two targets for 15 yards in Sunday's Divisional round loss at New England.
Walter was outproduced by not only rookie DeVier Posey but also FB James Casey. Due to earn $3.15 million in 2013 after losing snaps to a more dangerous Posey down the stretch, Walter could be a cap casualty entering his age-31 season.
And an upgrade at QB in my opinion. He is too hesitant and inconsistent to be a premier pocket QB and lacks the mobility that you see with the new breed of QB's like RGIII, Kapernick, Russell etc.
And the days of winning it all with only a great defense like the Bucs and Ravens did in the early 2000's appear to be over.
