Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Jeremy Maclin returned to practice on Wednesday after recovering from a neck injury, according to ESPN.com. Maclin had not practice since Sunday after suffering a neck strain during practice, but he returned to the field after a two-day absence. The 27-year-old stated that he is over the injury and expects to play in Saturday's preseason opener against the Arizona Cardinals. “Yeah, I’m good to go,” Maclin said. “I would assume (I’m playing). I want to. It happened early on a play in practice that day. I don’t know [if the injury happened during a fight with cornerback Marcus Cooper]. That’s how it goes sometimes, man. That’s not what I stand for. It was… one of the dog days of practice, man. I let my emotion get the best of me. I know that in the game, obviously, I’d be thrown out the game and possibly kicked out the next game, hurting my team. You can’t do that, so I’m not going to do that anymore.”
