Josh Freeman struggled in Tampa Bay's Week 3 loss to the Patriots, completing just 19-of-41 passes for 236 yards, zero touchdowns and an interception. Freeman was hurt by a host of drops and the second-half loss of Vincent Jackson (ribs), but was mostly as dreadful as the box score would indicate. He simply doesn't throw an on-the-money ball, missing far too many open receivers. Things got so bad at one point in the second half that backup Mike Glennon began to warm up, but coach Greg Schiano opted against eroding what little remains of his starting quarterback's confidence. A change is beginning to appear inevitable, however. Freeman owners in two-QB leagues would do well to clear a roster spot for Glennon.
