Josh Freeman completed just 14-of-34 passes for 189 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Bucs' Week 14 loss to the Eagles.

Freeman or Ryan ?

Herneker Tue 12/11/12 6:26 PM

I have freeman vs the saints or Matt Ryan vs the giants. Freeman is facing the worst pass defense in the league but Matty ice has been clutch all year. Who should I start?

KNIGHTHAWK10 Tue 12/11/12 5:28 PM

My problem is Freeman, Luck or Cutler! They just posted today Cutler is out with neck injury there goes that thought and I do not like Luck against Houston after the loss to the Patriots! But Luck is also the same guy who went into Detroit and banged out 391 Yds and 4 TDs getting me 35 points two weeks ago!

Now statistically Freeman should kill the Eagles question is by how much and how well?!?!

Going into Semi Finals with my first shot at a title and a 6 game winning streak! I would be pissed to loose in semi finals!

Any thoughts anyone?

KNIGHTHAWK10 Tue 12/11/12 5:30 PM

OOPS!! There actually playing N.O.! Same diff then lol!

KNIGHTHAWK10 Tue 12/11/12 5:31 PM

OK just looked back and Freeman scored 25 points on N.O. weeks ago in there first meeting! he's been relatively consistent all season so I think he gets the start!

Freeman v.s. Saints or Rodgers v.s. Bears?

Jorgy Tue 12/11/12 6:51 PM

That's my question. A-Rodg barely put up 13 the first time around at home. But this game does have more riding on it.. And that's when great players shine. Tough decision.

DTowne Wed 12/12/12 12:54 PM

same situation for me as well. I think i may be going with Freeman this week. Rodgers has been kind of disappointing the past couple weeks.

BigDLaffin Tue 12/11/12 6:06 AM

Playoff game: got RG3 and Freeman against the worst d in the NFL. Freeman put up a nice number last time against the saints. If RG3 plays how mobile will he be? So my question is.... RG3 or Freeman?!

Greg_W Tue 12/11/12 9:56 AM

Freeman for me

JamaliusJackson Tue 12/11/12 12:18 PM

I don't think you really can or should be trying to make this decision on Tuesday. If RGIII goes through practices and looks great this week, I don't know how you reasonably sit him for Josh Freeman. As a backup plan, Freeman is pretty ideal this week, but a healthy RGIII is likely to shred the Browns.

BigDLaffin Tue 12/11/12 6:14 PM

If he goes then RG3 it is, thanks for the advice.

JamaliusJackson Tue 12/11/12 7:59 PM

NP. I'm in the same exact predicament, and obviously in a big week, so I've given this a lot of thought myself. Just figured I'd pass along what I've gathered for myself. In essence, RGIII got me this far, so I can't back off now.

JeffSteinberg Mon 12/10/12 5:25 PM

Am I crazy to start Freeman over Brady in Week 15? Brady is facing a really tough 49ers D while Freeman is matched up against the worst defense in the league. Thoughts?

MTDayton Mon 12/10/12 6:49 PM

im doing it...yolo

JamaliusJackson Mon 12/10/12 7:46 PM

Not the craziest idea, though I'd bet the consensus response will be something along the lines of "never sit your studs" and the like. At the same time, it isn't like Freeman's been on fire lately, and he didn't look all that impressive against a pretty bad Eagles D. I probably stick with Tom, personally, but either start is defensible.

I'm just glad I have Freeman in this juicy matchup in case RGIII can't go on Sunday.

lefties1 Mon 12/10/12 8:58 PM

that's the same for me. freeman will have a 20+ point game for sure, which is all i need

Greg_W Tue 12/11/12 9:58 AM

Why is that all you need, do you have studs at every position?

lefties1 Tue 12/11/12 5:57 PM

well I have Julio Jones, Arian Foster, and Doug Martin, and when they're hot I usually win, so if they have a good week, all I need is 20 from freeman

warriors2185 Wed 12/12/12 3:01 AM

Go Brady! Believe it or not I have them 2 also (and Luck) and Im keeping Brady as my #1...Look at the doubts people had with starting him vs Houston and look what he did to them. I say go with him, he almost always puts up above average numbers so its less risky, im assuming your in the playoffs.

JeffSteinberg Wed 12/12/12 8:17 AM

I see what you are saying, but the 49ers are a much tougher Defense. I've decided to go with Freeman since he is due for a big game and against a terrible defense at that.
