Josh Freeman completed 24-of-39 passes for 299 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the Bucs' Week 4 loss to the Redskins.
Freeman was at his worst in the first half, throwing inaccurately and missing reads. Something clicked at halftime as he came out and proceeded to havehis best two quarters of the season. Freeman gave his wideouts shot at deep balls and aggressively targeted Vincent Jackson. Perhaps this will snap him out of his checkdown mentality. Freeman is now on pace for 3,160 yards, 20 touchdowns and 16 interceptions heading into the bye.
what happened was the skins played so well in the first half that they felt like they did not need to change or adjust anything where as the bucs did. the skins may have won but they got out coached in the 2nd half. that kicker missing 3 out of 4 did not help either.
on the flip side, freeman really stank it up so bad against a piss poor pass defense in the first half.
