Josh Cribbs left Thursday night's game against the Ravens with an apparent head or neck injury and will not return.
Cribbs took a shoulder to the back of the head while returning a punt and lost his helmet, then smacked the back of his head on the turf. He walked off under his own power but laid on the field motionless for a minute or two. Cribbs drew the start at receiver in place of the injured Mohamed Massaquoi.

And the man was knocked unconscious and looked like he suffered a serious neck or spine injury. No one cares about your fantasy team.

There's a really good column by Chuck Klosterman about this. Excellent read:
The Chris Johnson Problem
Fantasy football is destroying our perceptions of NFL athletes
