Jones (toe), who underwent minor foot surgery Monday, is expected to be at full strength by the start of training camp, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jones was slowed by a toe injury throughout the final weeks of the 2016 campaign and recently visited esteemed foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson this offseason for a checkup. It was decided he needed surgery, which was successfully performed Monday, and Jones is now slated for a four-to-five month timetable for recovery according to ESPN's Vaugh McClure. While he'll miss the entirety of the Falcons' offseason program, Jones should be operating at full speed by the start of training camp in late July.
