Johnson's excessive usage last week was due to the absence of Vernon Davis, who returned this week only to leave the game with a different injury. Davis (back) said that he should be fine for next week's tilt against the Chiefs, but if he weren't able to suit up, then Johnson would see an increased role and become an intriguing option in PPR formats.
