Sidelined in Weeks 15 and 16 due to an ankle injury, Johnson still amassed 61 tackles (50 solo), five interceptions, and one fumble recovery during the regular season. In his return in the season finale, he received just 39 of 72 defensive snaps, but the Cardinals' bye week allowed the safety to log every one of those snaps in their two playoff tilts. Johnson has called the Arizona desert his home since he was drafted in 2009. However, his age (30) may cause the front office to balk in contract negotiations in favor of fresher legs.
