Jets released WR Braylon Edwards. Edwards was in the middle of a workmanlike camp before going down with a leg injury last week. He missed Saturday's regular season dress rehearsal, sealing his fate. Edwards was outlasted on the roster by UDFA WR Ryan Spadola, which can't be a good sign for his future. On the wrong side of 30 and three years removed from his last worthwhile campaign, Edwards is near the end.
