Jets released QB Brady Quinn. As expected. Quinn's salary would have became guaranteed had he been on the roster at 4 PM ET Saturday. The Jets will go into the opener with Geno Smith and Matt Simms at quarterback. Quinn will likely be re-signed Monday afternoon. He's only going to be on the roster for however long Mark Sanchez is out.
