Jets ILB Bart Scott will meet with the team on Thursday regarding a possible pay-cut. Scott wasn't part of the Jets' initial cap purge on Tuesday, but will join Calvin Pace and company on the street soon enough if he isn't willing to dramatically slash his scheduled $6.9 million salary. Releasing Scott would free up roughly $8 million in cap space, so it's possible no amount of haggling will save his job. Scott wasn't a liability in 2012, but is no longer an impact player.
